Hero Hearts Unite was born from the hardest year of my life and from everything that carried me through it.

December 4, 2023 was the day my smile disappeared, and fear quietly entered my world. My doctor waited until that Monday to call, not wanting to ruin my last weekend of living without fear. I hung up the phone and cried, in shock, unable to comprehend the words I had just heard.
My husband was right beside me, strong and calm, finishing the call with my doctor. We sat in disbelief. You think you’re healthy until the moment you’re told you’re not.
After that day, everything moved quickly. Appointments, surgeries, and difficult decisions. On the day of my double mastectomy, I came home from surgery feeling empty and exhausted, wishing it was all just a nightmare. But it was real. My husband never left my side, and all of my dear friends visited to provide support and care.
Though my family couldn’t be there in person, they never left my side in spirit. My mom and dad called me every single chemotherapy day, without fail, sending messages that everything was going to be okay and that they were praying for the best outcome. Every call, every prayer reminded me that I was completely surrounded by love, even when we couldn’t be in the same room.
On March 20, I started chemotherapy. 12 rounds, followed by a year of targeted treatment. It was a long, painful journey, but I fought through every day with hope and faith. And through all of it, small comforts carried me: a soft blanket in a cold treatment chair, ginger for the nausea, a hand cream when my skin had been through too much.
So I built Hero Hearts Unite to make healing a little gentler for every warrior who fights, and to remind them they are never, ever alone.

My work didn’t end when my treatment did. Today I also work as a patient advocate, supporting seriously ill patients, not only those facing cancer, as they navigate hospital stays, procedures, and recovery. It keeps me close to doctors, care teams, and the families walking through the hardest days, and close to what patients truly need.

Coming through my own treatment didn’t close the chapter. It’s why I keep showing up for the people still in theirs.
Through my advocacy work I stay close to patients, families, and the doctors and nurses caring for them so every box is shaped by what people going through illness actually need, not guesswork.
We’re proud to stand alongside Bay Area Cancer Connections in supporting patients and families facing cancer. Hero Hearts Unite gift boxes are featured directly on the BACC website. Also, every order helps us gift comfort boxes directly to patients in need.
Every box we send carries the same comfort that helped me get through. Today it reaches people I’ll never meet, but I know exactly how they feel, and that’s why each one matters to me.
Everything I reached for in that treatment chair became the reason this brand exists. Each Hero Hearts Unite box carries the same comfort that carried me, ready to remind someone you love that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
Hero Hearts Unite is a compassion-driven brand dedicated to bringing comfort, strength, and hope to individuals facing illness. We create intentionally curated gift boxes designed to soothe, uplift, and remind every warrior that they are never alone. Each item was chosen with care, guided by real experience, real healing, and a heart committed to making someone’s hardest days feel a little lighter.
